She was born on March 4, 1922 in Brewton, Alabama to the late John Benjamin Wiggins and Thelma Mae Jernigan. Surviving her are four children: James Fred Mitchell, Jr. (Anne) of Foley, Alabama, Alfred Henry (Buddy) Mitchell (Dawn) of Montgomery, Alabama, Robert Douglas Mitchell of Brewton, Alabama, and Tanya Marie Mitchell of Fayetteville, Arkansas. For over forty years she served as a volunteer with the American Red Cross both in Europe and with the Escambia County Alabama Chapter of the American Red Cross. It didn't give me the exact date, but it stated in the records that she died in Oct 1877, so I thought that was good enough! Overall, though, if I remember correctly, I believe the records mainly just stated who the members were and who was in attendance. Although there is a copy of the records at the library in Lexington, I think I viewed them on microfilm that I ordered through my local LDS church.
