In the 1880s Mary Emma OWEN RICHARDSON, a widow, brought her family to Memphis. Later, Charles WEDDLE married Mary Emma, and his brother, John, married the oldest daughter, Ida RICHARDSON. Both brothers worked for the railroad in Memphis, but I believe that their family came from Brownsville. Could these WEDDLEs be the same family as WADDLE and WADDELL? I wonder?
