Would like to begin a NEW SECTION on Haywood TNGenWeb ---- of Biographies of Early Settlers --- those in Haywood County prior to 1860 and especially to cover families not included in Goodspeed http://www.tngenweb.org/haywood/goodspeed/gdspndx.htm. This does not eliminate these families if you have more or better information about them. This must be an historical page to fit the guidelines of TNGenWeb and our Server Usitnet. We cannot use long lineages or anything resembling a personal home page --- such articles are better written in 3rd person rather than as "my great-grandfather" --- and we follow the 75 year privacy rule and do not list living people.     3. Hi Jane I'm back and fess up it was me that was wondering what our list is running. I am running a PC also. My rollcall names are MOORE/McGEE I am searching in Haywood and surrounding counties for parents of Sally Ann MOORE that married Thomas M. McGEE. He was the son of John McGEE and Nancy Murphy. They are believed to have lived close to the county lines of Haywood, Fayette , and Hardeman. Would appreciate any informationon these two families that anyone can furnish!!!! Thanks!

I have traced a group through Haywood County in 1830 which includes the following heads of household: Jenkins Sullivan, 60-69 years (p. 433) Levi Sullivan, 50-59 years (p. 423) Eli Sullivan, 40-49 years (p. 433) They apparently lived in the SE corner of the County and some of their children, nieces, nephews, and some other relatives that migrated after 1830 also lived in the very SW corner of Madison County. Some names in which I am interested: Phillip B. Sullivan, Haywood 1840 Albert C. Sullivan, Haywood 1840 George Sullivan, Haywood 1840 Simeon Sullivan, Madison 1840 Ransom Sullivan, Madison 1840 Jackson C. Sullivan, Madison 1840 Florence Pike Sullivan, Madison 1840 Mary A. H. Sullivan, Madison 1850 P. B. Sullivan, Madison, 1850 H. W. Sullivan, Madison, 1850 John Sullivan, Madison, 1850 (living with Jeremiah and Ann Fuller) If you know any of these Sullivans I would appreciate it if you would let me know. Also, if anyone knows any one who claims any kinship to Sullivans please let me know. I would love a list of persons with the surname of Sullivan currently living in Haywood County.
