He did genealogy the old fashioned way by interviewing some of the long time residents of Hawkins Co.'s and transcribing bible records and his interviews onto paper. These records that he collected are now on microfiche in Stamps Library, Rogersville, TN. Before they were on microfilm they were paper records. Price interviewed many old residents in the 1940's. Often times during the interview he would come across someone in that family who kept the family records, usually in a bible.
