This is a wonderful gift. I see several names of interest... notably a Reuben Owens, sgt. My ggg-uncle, Hardy Owens was in the Bunch Reg't. and died on the way to the battle of Horseshoe Bend. He is the brother of John Owens, Jr., my ggggrandfather, of Knoxville, TN. I was wondering if Reuben is also related. My Owens originate in SW VA, then upper E TN (Grainger) and then end up in Knox Co. John Owens married Sarah Gibbs, thought to be related to Nicholas Gibbs, who died at Horseshoe Bend.
