Have the records that Jack Goins and others saved from the basement of the Hawkins County Courthouse been put in a form that are available for sale to the public? I have heard so many valuable records have been cleaned and copied fro safe keeping. Are these/Will these records be for sale? It would be a great way to make money for the Hawkins County Genealogical Society if they were made available.
They have been microfilmed and are available at Tennessee State Library and Archive. 1795-1930 Circuit Court Criminal, 1795-1930 Circuit Court Civil, and Chancery 1795-1930 Tennessee State Library and Archives Website . ----- Original Message ----- From: "SAMLAWSON1929" <bulldog1947@comcast.net> To: <TNHAWKIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, May 07, 2009 7:04 PM Subject: [TNHAWKIN] Hawkins County Records > > Have the records that Jack Goins and others saved from the basement of the > Hawkins County Courthouse been put in a form that are available for sale > to the public?
