Mary Ann Jones was born in Jun 1899, according to the 1900 census when she was with her parents, Prior Tipton and Eliza Jane (Cope) Jones. When her brother Sam died in Apr 1987 she was listed as "one sister, Mary Ann Jones of Rogersville, TN" which would have made here the last one alive of the family. I cannot find a Social Security or a TN Death record for her. Does anyone know what happened to her and when she died. An obituary would be great. She is not listed in the Colbach Price records and I didn't find a Kingsport obituary, making me think she died sometime between 1987-1997. Might she have moved away from Rogersville to a niece or nephew's home? Any help appreciated. She would be 100 next month if she were still alive, which she could be.
