Who is Orlena 24? In 1860 for Hennis Lawson I show Mariah c1847 and Orlena c1851. I recently got some email from a Mr. Anderson in Illinois who said Hennis' daughter, Elizabeth c1826, had daughters named Mariah and Orlena. I am now wondering if these girls belong to Elizabeth and NOT Hennis. Mr. Anderson said Mariah married Richard Calvin Alvis and moved to MO. Orlena married Daniel A. Anderson and moved to IL. He said both these girls belonged to Wilson W. Willis, and there may have been more children. I believe Wilson W. Willis m. Nancy Mitchell in 1848. The 1850 Census has Hennis and his wife with all those young children, including Mariah 3. Do you know if any of the youngsters were grandchildren? I also remember somebody making a mention of Hennis having foster children. In 1870 in the household of Thomas Brown there is Orlena Lawson 19 working as a housekeeper, she might be the one from Hennis' household in 1860.
