I don't recall seeing any markers fo Dodson, but I can tell you there are lots of small graveyards unmarked and in a sad state of affairs to say the least. I did find that people from Rogersville and the Historical Society were eager to help. I found a gravesite on the land my ancestor farmed and found his son's grave marker. In the same area, I found two other grave sites. So, what it will probably take is a trek to Hawkins County and a lot of walking up and down some really big ol' hills. By the way, the view of the Holston River from the South Side while sitting high up on a hill is breathtaking at sunset. Good luck and I will keep my eyes open for a Dodson Marker when I return to the area for more searching in the near future.
