Mitchell, Clk --- This area was also very close to the Virginia state line, and some of the Hubbards & Weddles at various times lived just across the state line in VA, and are also found in Lee and Scott Co., VA records. Here's my question: I'm looking for any cemeteries near the Shelby's Creek area where Jesse Hubbard might be buried. I have not found any record of his burial place. He died about Nov. 1815 just a few months after he returned to Hawkins county from the War of 1812. I don't know if he died of injuries or if he became ill after his service. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it!
