MURRELL was a son of Pleasant G. MURRELL and Susan TRENT. Susan TRENT was a daughter of James "Osborne" BURTON/TRENT and Elizabeth JOHNSON. Pleasant and Susan had children, two of which were James Orville MURRELL and Harvey G. MURRELL. William G. TRENT was a witness for James Orville MURRELL when James applied for a pension for Civil War service. In that statement he made for James Orville MURRELL, William G. TRENT states that, "James Orville MURRELL was my sister's child". William G. TRENT was the son of James "Osborne" BURTON/TRENT and Elizabeth JOHNSON, so Susan would have been their daughter, too, a sister to William G. TRENT...
