Jacob died about 1795. Jacob seems to have built the Stone House at Clouds Ford. Sarah along with her brothers and sisters sold of parts of the land they inherited from their father in Hawkins County, Tennessee and Scott County, Virginia. This looks to me as iron clad proof of her father. I don't know when Wills aquired the land the Stone House was built on but I am certain the property was in Virginia when Tennesse was formed since the location, today in Sullivan County, Tennessee, would be north of the Walker Line. That means you need to look in Washington County, Virginia records for more information. For information on the Walker Line, Google the "Squable State."
