He was brought to America on a ship chartered by William Penn. the Dick family, agents of William Penn, raised Lewis in Lancaster Co. PA. When he was 21 he married Catherine Dick, daughter of Peter Dick & Susan. He was a Rev. War Vet. Lived in Washington Co. Va for a while hear the salt works. He settled west of what now is Mountain City, TN. He died in 1832 in Greene Co. TN. The oldest boy of Lewis was John, b. 1772, Lancaster Co. PA & d. 1850 Dade Co. MO. My second great-grandfather, Lewis Calvin Wills lived for while in what today is Lee Co. VA. He married Susan Crabtree in Lee Co. VA 18 March 1838. They settled in what today is Christian Co. MO late in 1838 or early in 1839. Lewis Calvin's son Caleb Dines was born in Christian Co. MO in 1848. He married Rachel Harriett Kershner, daughter of John G. Kershner & Martha Howell Amis. John & Martha married 1829, Hawkins Co. TN.
