No one seems to know who the mother is of WILLIAM GOODMAN, born about 1790, - but he is considered to be the son of OBEDIAH GOODMAN. From reading, EDMUND GOODMAN had a son named William. Could Edmund really be the father of this William and there is only one William? Who did this William marry? Also, my William Goodman is to have married Martha (Patsy) MANIS about 1924. Who were Martha's parents? Martha or Patsy GOODMAN is listed as the head of household for the 1830 and 1840 TN census. Where was WILLIAM GOODMAN? There is a William Goodman listed further down on the page, but if William was born in 1790, this William is too young - and he has his own family including a wife.
