I have a deed dated 1848 granting Jacob Armstrong 106 acres on the south side of the Holston River on Dodson's Creek. Is Big Creek near Dodson's Creek? Jacob later stated he was born Dec 1 1816 in Hawkins Co TN, that's why I was interested in the 1790 list..
