Hi Karen, I don't show a James Moore married to a Cordia Welch in my file, but I may not have the second wife noted. What was his first wife's name? Do you have a timeframe for his birth/death? Do you know where he lived in Grainger Co.? There were at least two separate Moore families in Grainger. One lived very near the Hawkins line and many are buried in the old County Line Cemetery, currently called the Colwell Cemetery I believe. Others are buried on or near Moore's Chapel Road. This is a different family than established the Mooresburg town.
