Yes, I do believe Obediah Goodman lived sometimes on Newman's Ridge which is now in Hancock County because of county boundary changes. However, it is my understanding that he also lived in Floyd County, KY and he died in Royalton, Magoffin Co, KY. Since you are a descendant of Obediah Goodman and have the Goodman last name, would you consider having your DNA processed? I had my brother submit his and I would be interested to see if our DNA match as Goodmans. Please let me know. It would be great to really be connected.
