    3. Yes. Greeneville is a nice little town. The reason we left and came to FL was because my husband was an electrician and he got tired of icicles going down his jacket when he was working under a roof doing wiring etc. I think I made a mistake when I said Andrew Johnson had a home in Greeneville. I believe it was his tailor shop I visited. Is that correct? My parents had a farm on Gap Creek and my grandparents also had one there. I was a young girl and there wasn't much for the young people to do except go to church and once in a while an ice cream supper. My mother was a widow and we didn't have a car, so life was pretty dull. I'm sorry to rattle on, old people ( I'm one.) like to talk about the past. When the person said 7th president, I asked if they were thinking of Andrew Jackson. I live in Greeneville, TN and have seen the Johnson home, etc. Greeneville is a great but small town. Retired here in 1997. Thanks -- Bill Waller --- On Mon, 7/6/09, lois vick <loho5@msn.com> wrote: From: lois vick <loho5@msn.com> Subject: Re: [TNHAWKIN] 1790 Voters list part 6 To: tnhawkin@rootsweb.com Date: Monday, July 6, 2009, 7:22 PM Andrew Johnson was the 17th president (1865-69) His impeachment trial was 1868.
