In his pension papers, William Walling says he was born on "Christmas day 1759 'old style'". If you convert the old style to the new, this is the conversion: 12/25/1759 Old Style corresponds to 13/5/1759 New Style, or 1/5/1760 as stated in family records handed down from that time. I have extensive information on William's descendants for anyone interested in his lineage. I'm always looking for new cousins to swap info with!
