Do you have more information about the Manis family Alsey Lawson (1797 Hawkins Co.) m Jesse Manis (1790-1846 Hawkins Co) s/o Seth Manis and Martha 'Patsy' Fields (Bedford Co). Jesse's brother, John, m Celia abt 1820 Hawkins Co.; son John m Martha Gonce 1856 Hawkins Co and had son Callaway Manis 1858. The Gonce/Vances go back to Del. Margaret I have a reference to a Fannie Manis who married a James Beals/ Bails both were born about 1810 and had a daughter named Elizabeth (born abt 1850) who married a William Callahan. They lived in the Bradley county area. Any help or hints appreciated. Cyndy
