Does anyone know about Levi Bowlen, found in 1830 and 1840 census? I believe him to be my ggg grandmother's (Nancy Bowlen Vaughan) Father. In 1830 Wilson Vaughan is shown with Nancy and family. By 1840 Wilson is either dead or has left his family. In 1840, Thomas Rains has moved between Levi and Nancy leading me to believe that Thomas may have married another dauther of Levi's? James Bowlen is living on the other side of Levi. Probably a son. Another name that caught my eye is Henry Province. Sure would like information about Henry also. My ggg grandfather said his grandmother was Mary Province. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. Phyllis Phillips
