If Martin Murrell died without children, he would not have been included on this list. I have seen no indication that he had a family of his own. 2. All the primary names on that list are specifically named as brothers and sisters; therefore, they would all be sons or daughters of James Murrell, Sr. by one of his wives. 3. John A. Murrell is apparently James' son according to this case. I think the son of Christian Pearson named in that divorce proceeding was called "Calvin." There was no Calvin named in this, so Calvin was either dead without children or not named because he was not N.J. Murrell's brother by the whole or half blood. Calvin would necessarily have been excluded as N.J.'s heir if he was not James Murrell's son because we know they had different mothers.
