Jacob acquired land in Warren County, TN, about 1810. Jacob died abt. 1824, and Mary Ann Warren Hawk remarried in Warren County, TN, to Martin Johnson, Sr., in 1829. We have determined that various associated families such as the Drakes and the Vaughans also removed to Warren County, TN, and then on to Madison County, AR. Jacob never lived to go to Madison County, AR. Mary Ann went there with Martin Johnson, Sr. Some of the Hawk sons made it to Madison County by the 1830s and acquired land there. The rest of the family followed. We find those related to our Hawks in Hawkins County but cannot find our Jacob there. Does anyone know of this Hawk family? Is Jacob related to Abraham in some capacity? Was Mary Ann a second marriage? It is believed that both Jacob and Mary Ann were born between 1760 and 1780, but no later than 1780. Their first child was born in 1800. His name was George Washington Hawk. There is another surname of McCarver mentioned in the surnames of Hawkins County. Mary McCarver also married a George Washington Hawk, but not the above-mentioned George. This George and Mary McCarver also removed to Warren County, TN. However, we have not been able to establish a relationship between this George and our Jacob, who would have been contemporaries, as their ages were approximately the same -- maybe brothers or cousins?
