Thank you Bob. Not related we know of, but we know of General George Rutledge who married an Armstrong from Hawkins County. Rutledge Tennessee was named after him even though he never lived there. Pretty close to home though. William Rutledge is a possibility of course though Caldwell is new. Our group lived close to the Holsten River, but it ran through several counties. I'll put both on the Rutledge list and see if anyone knows them.
