I have been going through old posts and found this one. My Hicks "brickwall" is William Morrell Hicks Sr. b. 6/28/1776, possibly in Randolph or Tazewell Co VA. He and his family migrated to Indian (Perry Co.) in 1801. His grandaughter, Cynthia, is my ggGrandmoher. Have you ever run across that name? I am homebound with svcere osteoarthritis and cannot get out to do research, but I have my trusty computer!! I am searching all over the net in ancestry/gene sites. Thanks, in advance!
