There are the first names of the Lawson clan(s)! I always figured Sherrod was actually Sherwood. Where is New Sweden? That's a new one for me. I have decided to move from the obvious (Banks Lawson's mother = Ellender Banks). I am going to go with my Mother's notes left at the Library in Rogersville...Clement is Banks' father and John is Clement's father. But which John? It appears the Banks and the Lawsons had a close and lengthy relationship with probably more than one intermarriage. Now if we just knew who his brothers were! At first I thought they recycled first names, now I think they churned them and spread them like butter! Do you suppose Clement's John is Black Eye John? My sister did some looking and didn't think our Lawsons were around Falling River, but she was working on the Banks/Burrell angle. I have found some of my mother's Trents around Falling River.
