So, there should be lots of folks from Hawkins County in Taney, Wright, Howell, and Ozark counties. Thomas Lawson Jr's children moved to Ozark and Howell counties about 1893. I also noticed that Richard Lawson's son Calloway was living with James and Elizabeth Lawson Burton in 1870 Hawkins County. Why was that? Elizabeth was traditionally the daughter of Hennis Lawson, although there isn't any firm evidence for it as far as I know. Thomas E. Brown secured the marriage bond, which raises more questions. Was it Thomas Sr or Thomas Jr who secured the bond? The bond was usually secured by a close relative. Was Brown related to the Burtons or the Lawsons?
