My Robertson's were in Kentucky, and I trace back to Joseph Rainey Robertson, b. ca 1775 in Scotland, possibly the Hamilton, Lanark, SCT area. I have no information on how, when or why he arrived there. All the rest seem to have been Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. I have found no reference to any of them below Kentucky, and it appears they arrived in KY from Virginia. I also appear to be descended from the Hamiton group. Don't know how or why. John
