We are called Friends Of Hawkins County Archive Project and will not be open for research until all the Circuit and Chancery court loose records are cleaned and microfilmed, but you may come for a visit and look at our index and method of operation. We are all volunteers working to establish a permanent County Archive and research center from donations and gifts. We are located at 955 East McKinney Avenue next to the Rescue Squad building, call for appointment, hours are 9 to 4 pm Monday thru Friday. phone 423-921-0904.
