I show his fathers name is William (or Bill) Manis, Mothers name was Elizabeth Lacy. Have been told that Ephraim middle initial is M. No proof. 1880 census have Ephraim (spelled Ephram) living with son Harvey Manis (Harvey's full name is James Harvey. I am trying to find out how many children Ephraim had. I have names of James Harvey Manis, Francis Asbury Manis, and I believe there may be a George Lane Manis. not sure. My husband's grandmother was the daughter of James Harvey. I did find Ephraim Manis on the 1860 census, Listing James H, Easter, and Joseph F. as children. Hope some of this helps.
