Jackson Marvin Roe married my gg grandmother's sister - Nancy Elizabeth Dickerson. I seem to remember that Jackson Roe went to Washington State in 1920 and then back to Texas in 1930. He was a Blacksmith in both places. I didn't know of any children until I saw your messages. (There was a son in Texas from Jackson and his second wife, Ellen Larkin.) The Cherokee Indian story has persisted on my family tree but unproven and even one claim was denied by Dawes Commission. I would appreciate anything you can share. My email is melrohs@earthlink.net.
