It doesn't seem to be in the court records. Maybe there is something in a pension file. One curious observation is that Preston Lawson is almost always listed as a son of William and Sarah Hinton Lawson. Yet, I have a court document that names his male heirs and Preston isn't one of them. So, it makes you suspect that some of the traditional ancestry for the Lawsons may be wrong. David
