The fact that Ambrose Lawson from 1850 Stokes County, TN had a son Richard born in TN about 1837 brings up the possibility that he was the 1836 Hawkins County District 4 Ambrose. That location could have been in future District 3. It is interesting that Ambrose from Stokes County was living next to Samuel Mabe in 1850 Stokes County.
