Another couple are in the 1850 census are C. C. Johnson and wife Mahala (Brewer) Johnson. He was b. in TN and they were in Crawford co AR by 1866. In the 1880 census he says his f. and m. were born in VA. Aaron and Phoebe are the only couple in Hawkins co. TN. that fit that discription. He was 70 and she was 54 then. He was old enough to have been married before. Christopher Columbus / C C Johnson was born in 1827 in TN. Mahala Brewer Johnson was the sister to Darcous , Lydia, Fredrick, Susan, Isara Brewer. They were all the children of Fredrick and Lydia Brewer and grandchildren of 'old Ambrose Brewer'. A son of Ambrose Brewer, Joab , had grandchildren and gt grandchildren that wound up in Sebastian co AR, across the river from Crawford co, AR. Fredrick jr . had a son Barnett Brewer who also went to AR and married into the Mullen family as did Mahala's daughter Mary. So, is Aaron the f. of CC ?. Helen Mullen Cox
