J. Parrott. My Great-Grandmother was his youngest sister - Lula Elizabeth Parrott Carpenter. She was raised by John Coleman Hicks and his wife. She married Gabriel Carpenter when she was about 14 years old. Elizabeth always said she didn't know who her father was. I believe her mother died when she was just a couple years old. From everything I can tell, Emaline had 5 children, four which were illegitimate. Do you know anything about who fathered her other children?
