For many years we have know that our direct Rutledge and Wilson line lived in Hawkins County before they moved to Bledsoe County in time to appear on the census of 1850. More recently we found information that placed the whole family together between 1820 and 1835 at a place in Hawkins County called Hickory Cove. They attended the Hickory Cove Church. We believe Hickory Cove is between Rogersville and Clinch Mountain, but cannot find it on maps we have viewed on the internet. If any of you have a map that shows where Hickory Cove is, or was, thank you. If records exist that far back do any of you know a link or links to such records, like census, land, BMD, court, cemetery transcriptions, etc., that might broaden our knowledge base of this family.
