I believe some of your dates are off. Joseph son of Joseph I & Susannah Chiles was born 18 Sept.1740 near Charlottesville, Louisa, VA. He died 8 Sept. 1808 in Henry County, VA. He was mar'd. at least 3 times, (1) Sarah Lucas, (2) Betsy Ward, (3) Susannah Graves. I think that I have all of his children by the 3 wives, but who knows. I descend from his brother brother William Peters Martin whom I did an SAR Supplemental App. I joined the SOR under Capt. William Martin.
