They are listed on the 1860 Census for Hancock Co. with a War Gap post office. I know that War Gap is in Hawkins county. I cannot however find where they are on the 1870 Census. They have 8 children 6 of whom I know the names of . Susan, Harvey, Mary, Martha, July(Julia) and Thomas. John was born in Virginia 1831/32 and Rosy 1840/41.
