Wanted to mention our family has a Stapleton bible with the following written inside: W.P. Stapleton presented by his father Albany, Gentry Co., Mo., July 15, 1874. Fielding T. Stapleton, 1884, William Perry Stapleton. This family was from Hawkins Co., TN before moving to Gentry Co., MO. The obituary of Christopher Barkley is glued in the back cover. A native of Feldernach, Germany and settling in Albany, Gentry Co., MO. He is our relation and don't know how he connects with the Stapleton family or why his obituary is inside this bible.
