One I know was a grandson of Thomas and the son of Stephen. Stephen had 3 sons that I know of, Abner, Thomas and Anderson. This Abner married Charlott Lawson. It is said in Abners pension application that Charlott died in Rogersville, Webster County MO in 1891. Abner died in 1909 in the Soldiers HOme in Lafayette, Indiana and is buried there. They are the same family that was in Fayette County in 1870. We suspect they came to Indiana with the Alfred Bolen family as we have found information that says Alfreds wife, Keziah Johnson and Abner were half brother and sister.We still haven't been able to sort that out. I hope between us we can sort all of this out. I have not been able to find out where Stephen died. I just know that the 3 boys all said they were born in Indiana and Abner said he was born in Clay County Indiana. He was born in 1833. I did find a Stephen Johnson in Hamilton county in 1840 but have searched records for that county with no success. I do hope to go to Clay County if spring ever gets here.Maybe I will have some luck there.
