If so I have some info from the book BLANKENBECKLER AND RELATED FAMILIES 1717-1943 by Wm. P. Blankenbeckler. The book states that Jesse was born probably in Rye Valley of Smyth country prior to 1800, where, we surmise, all his children were born. He was married in Washington Co., VA, October 9, 1817, to Miss Rhoda Odell, and later he and his wife; two sons, Calvin and William; and probably two daugthers, Elizabeth and Jane migated from Rye Valley about 1837, bought and entered land in Big Moccasin Valley, Scott County, Virginia, adjoining the land of Greenberry Evans ................the article goes on to state that William and Jesse moved to Hawkins County, prior to the war between the states and WIlliam served as a private in the Confederate Army. It also states that Jesse remained in Scott Co a few years and that no family reocrd hs been found about his descendants except Calvin. Hope this helps.
