Or if you have tracked this William to certain Census records could you pass on thoes Census. I would appreciate so much being able if not to pin my William down to at least eliminate other Williams from the field. Thank you, Pattie

Anderson. I don't remember offhand who David's father was. I will look through my notes to see if I can find the reference again. Also, with respect to William Anderson, he gave or sold property at a low price to Jonathan Anderson and George Anderson. The documents that I saw suggested that he might be the father of both of them--or in the worst case a brother. Again, I will look at the documents that I have. David

I am searching for the burial location of Aaron Bass and Malinda Wooten Bass. They moved to Hawkins County from Surry County, NC about 1851 with several unmarried children. Thanks, Linda C.

James Willis was seeking a divorce from Elizabeth. Does anyone know who these people are? Who are their parents? Did they have any children? I am trying to determine if this is my g-g grandfather who married Birdie Pearson in Hawkins County on 7/2/1889 and was supposedly in the Spanish American War. I have their marriage bond and she used the name Birdie. I believe Birdie's parents are Christopher Columbus and Eliza Jane Pearson. The 1870 census lists one of their children as Eliza S age 9/12 mo. (b. 1869) however the 1880 census does not list an Eliza but does list Birdie as 8 years old (b. 1872). Are they the same person?
