Andrew married Annis Looney on SEP 13, 1846 in Hawkins County, TN. Annis then remarried Sam Mitchell. As for Jackson, due to the ages, I have suspected that Jackson that married Ludema is also the Jackson that married Margaret. There are two dates listed on ancestry as marriage records for Jackson. The first is Nov 2, 1865 for Martha Mahab, the second is Dec 14, 1865 for Mary Mahab. This is a confusing family. I have considered that this Jackson could be son of John Jr. Both Andrew and Jackson were both common names in this extended family. In addition, Molly's funeral home records list her mother as Margaret Smith instead of Mabe. The other question could be are these records for the Ferrell/Mahab marriage really Margaret (Lawson/Smith) or are they for Mary or Martha Mabe?? They also suggest that Andrew Jackson Ferrell was the son of John Ferrell Jr and Rachael Brooks. The records don't prove one way or another whether Jackson Ferrell married to Ludema Anderson was the Andrew Jackson Ferrell, the son of John Jr, later married to Margaret Mabe. However, Jackson Ferrell went to prison for several years, and was released about the time that Andrew Jackson married Margaret Mabe, so it is possible they are one in the same. But, there seems to be a disparity in ages between Ludema and Andrew Jackson that might speak against it. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Mr Wright Harrison was the owner and funeral director, until his health forced him in October 1942 to turn over to Mr. W. Ray Colbach, who had been working for Mr. Harrison for more than nine years at that time. Mr Harrison stated to the Rogersville Review in October 1942 that"after seventeen years of close association with the work and being on call night and day, he feels that a rest from the gruelling routine is indicated" This revised book covers death records from September 6, 1930 to Obtober 16, 1931 and January 4, 1935 to September 13, 1942. The books covering October 17, 1931 to January 3, 1935 have been lost over the years and therefore the information is not included in this book. This revised book covers 1418 burials with as much information as possible derived from the service books.
