This isn't Susan Allison's husband's immediate family. Jane Ellis is the one who put us on the right track. According to David [Cagle] the 1860 census lists T. M. Kyle, age 31, with wife Susan E. Is this Susan the correct age to be your Susan? [Yes, she was. = Sharon] If there is a record of T. M. B. Kyle marrying a Louisa Allison in 1858, then maybe that name has just been transcribed wrong or something. T. M. B. Kyle must be your Bennett Kyle. TMB Kyle would have been born around 1829 so he could easily have been the son of Gilbert and Joyce Kyle. His birthdate would fall between those of William C., around 1825, and my M. B. Kyle around 1831.
