Carolyn, I have a document handed down in my family, dated 8th December 1835, where Henry Cagle, Jr, 1780-1857, went to court to recover a judgment against his brother George Cagle, 1780's-1840, and Francis Henry. These Cagles were related to the Long family of Cabarrus Co., NC. Probably George and Elizabeth Long and their son Ransom Long. George Long apparently died in the 1830's. Elizabeth Long was enumerated in the 1840 census of Hardin Co., TN and New Madrid Co., MO for the same year. Henry Cagle and George Cagle had previously moved there in 1838. I don't know the relationship to Francis Hnery.
