David, Thanks for the Smith/Sloan information. However, I can't comment on the Smith information since, sorry to say, I have not done any research on these folks even though it is alleged that my William Perkins, who lived on the Hardin/Henderson Co. line was married to a smith. However, I found the following information on an Alexander Sloan and Ruthy Lee. Per the below site, it is stated the following information was abstracted from Green Co., KY Marriage records as published in the Green Co. Historical Society. I have not been able to find any additional information on the Sloan/Lee connection from Green Co. KY but believe that these are the same Alexander Sloan and Ruthy that were in Hardin Co. Alexander and Ruthy Sloan had two g grand daughters with the middle name Lee. http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ky/green/vitals/marr/marrbka.txt Marriages: Green Co., Ky. Marriages 1793-1836 Book A This was published by the Green Co.
