James, I don't know if your question has been answered about this Watson Book. It is not a history of the Watson family, but interesting tidbits about Hardin County and the various families that settled in the communities around the county. The Watsons may be mentioned but there is not a genealogy. After researching for three years for Meady White (Meedy, Medy,), orginally from Bertie, N.C., Sevier Co. Tn and then he followed his family (sons) into middle Tennessee, I paid a researcher three hundred dollars to find out that it was not the Meady White of your county about 1850 whose mansion is currently being renovated as he insisted. The son Meady was not the son of my Meady as you politely explained. > > Thank you, > > James Rule Watson, III > [email protected] > > > > > ==== TNHARDIN Mailing List ==== > Visit the Hardin County, Tennessee Genealogy and History Page at > http://www.tngenweb.org/hardin/ > > >
