    3. Lynda, Pleasant A. Smith was the son of Daniel and Pleasant M. Smith was the son of Daniel's brother, James L. Smith. Matilda Smith, sister of Daniel and James L., married Henry Reynolds and they are my g/g/g/grandparents. Pleasant M. Smith is living in the household of his father in 1850. In 1860 he is shown with his first wife Nancy McCarn age 22 with no Children. Apparently she died before 1870? I don't know what happens after that? Russell David, Can you help me with some Smith genealogy? I have that Pleasant M. Smith married Nancy M. McCarn, she dies before 1850, and I am sure that he remarried and had other children, than his four by Nancy. What happened to the four he had by her, and who did he remarry and so forth. But how does he tie into the Jennetta Smith you all have been talking about? I have been out of the loop a while and am going to try and get back in. 3. Thanks, David. Now tell me that Henry Reynolds was the brother of Redden Washington Reynolds that married my other aunt, Sarah Isabella. Right? Well I will have to study the rest of this, so I can ask intelligent questions or make some connections. They all seemed to name their children the same! Thanks again. Lynda

    3. Lynda, You are correct. Redden Washington Reynolds married Sarah Isabella McCarn about 1856. His parents were Henry and Matilda Smith Reynolds, Henry died in 1834 and Matilda in 1837. Redden also had a brother named Henry Reynolds.
