    3. Regarding: Recreation in Hardin Co., TN A very good place to eat is the Whorley Bird Cafe (hope I spelled it right). Their lunches are good, but their desserts are delicious- worth the drive. Savannah also has a walking trail- can obtain booklet from the Chamber of Commerce- which tours ante-bellum homes such as Cherry Mansion; Trail of Tears overlook; and Alex Haley's grave. Of course, Shiloh is very close and admission to Shiloh always provides admission to the Savannah Museum. If you like the civil war, Brice's Crossroads isn't too far in Baldywin, MS. They have nice little museum and great walking trails. Tupelo, which is not far at all, has Elvis Presley's birthplace, Natchez Trace museum; and a couple other museums. Florence, AL has a lot of museums and things to do as well as wonderful shopping. A great day trip is to Huntsville, AL to the Space Museum. Huntsville also has great library for the genealogy fans as well as other attractions. Hope you have a great trip to Hardin Co. and surrounding area. Margaret
