I just learned Sunday that Bill Darnell, who was the Hardin County, Tennessee Co-County Coordinator, died in 9 January 2004. This was a shock to me as he was a cousin and a friend. The TNGenWeb Project has placed a memorial to Bill Darnell at http://www.tngenweb.org/memoriam/billdarnell.html. He will be missed. David Cagle was the Co-County Coordinator with Bill Darnell. He is now the County Coordinator of Hardin County. With the help of some other Tennessee County Coordinators (mostly David Donahue) the site back up at http://www.tngenweb.org/hardin/. According to Ronney Brewington the maintenance of the web site will be discussed at the next Hardin County Historical Society meeting this April 15, 2004. Jerry W. Where are the meetings held? I had intended on going to a meeting a couple of months ago, but had a conflict with my daughter's jr. pro basketball game on the same night. I am very much into genealogy and searching my family tree for the past few years. I thought I would like to attend a meeting, to see if I like the HC Historical Society enough to join.
